Information about us is a site operated by Klein Solicitors Limited (“we”, “us” or “the firm”).  We are registered in England and Wales under company registration number 6049010 and have our registered office and practice address at 42 Brook Street, Mayfair, London W1K 5DB, United Kingdom.  Our VAT registration number is GB 898 8085 42.  Our managing director is Gregor Kleinknecht LLM MCIArb.

We are a firm of solicitors and the firm has been recognised by the Council of the Law Society as a suitable body to provide legal services.  We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority, SRA number 00450437.  All of our directors and members are solicitors.  The firm has professional indemnity insurance cover in place which exceeds the minimum terms and conditions for incorporated practices required by the Solicitors’ Indemnity Insurance Rules 2008.  Our insurers are Travelers Professional Risk Ltd, Exchequer Court, 33 St Mary Axe, London EC3A 8AG, United Kingdom.  Our policy number is UC SOL 3668742.  Further details of our insurance cover are available on request.

Accessing our site

Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and no rights are granted to use our site.  We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the information and service which we provide on our site without notice (see below).  We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Information about you and your visits to our site

Where you contact us to request and obtain further information about us and the services which we provide, we will process information about you in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and always limited to the reasonable context of your request.  By using our site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

Viruses, hacking and other offences

No warranties are given that our site is free from viruses or other harmful media and you are solely responsible for ensuring that you have installed adequate virus checking and protection software on the computer from which you access or link to our site.  We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses, or any other computer code, files, programs, or other technologically harmful material that may infect, interrupt, restrict, destroy or otherwise limit the functionality of your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

Jurisdiction and applicable law

The English courts will have to the extent permitted by law exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our site although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms of use in your country of residence, the country of the seat of your business, or any other relevant country.

These terms of use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
